Suggestion For Profiles

I was just thinking, it would be pretty cool if we could change parts of our profile to make it more - personal.

Say we can have a few more forms in our profile for background image, table colour, and font colour.

Of course there would have to be limitations so the information could be read. So you couldnt have white tables with white font.

Sounds like an ok idea, i personally wouldn't take advantage of it though.

I was hoping for a larger text field for editing your signature, and specifying your posting color (mine's deepskyblue) in your profile (centered, too?) so you don't have to add it every time.

I generally don't look at profiles much... I doubt many people would use it.

I'd be fine with just being able to write a little paragraph or so in our profile. But consider what being able to add background images would do. There's ALWAYS someone who doesn't follow/care about the rules and they end up posting something vulgar until someone clicks on it and..yeah. I like the idea of being able to have preset font colour/text allignment.

I like that idea cliff and it shouldnt take up any extra bandwidth/resources (except for a little more on loading the profile page but not much) but I dont know how hard it would be to have it always be added. of course they could have a check mark field on the posting page that allowed you to use the options in your profile or not like the checkmark for signature.
