If you already have a daily routine, such as a farming run, or a run to collect all the daily stuff from achievement diary gear (free flax, free pure essence, battlestaves), you can easily work "shopping" into your routine. Shopping, I hear you say? Yes, you can make lots of daily cash by going to various shops and buying stock and then reselling those items on the Grand Exchange for profit. Some items include:
Tinderboxes
Jugs
Bronze/Iron/Steel arrows
Rope
Feathers
Chocolate Bars
Tomatoes
Cheese
Potatoes
Onions
Eggs
Grapes
Pots of Flour
Buckets of Milk
Pat of Butter
Pot of Cream
Spice
Vials of Water
Earth and Water Runes
These are just an example of some of the everyday supplies that people overlook as good money making items. When bought in quantity everyday, you end up with lots of these items in your bank. If you go to as many stores as possible you can accumulate tons of profit-making items. Don't overlook a RuneScape shop the next time you are in a village, check out what the shop has for sale and buy, buy, buy. Good shops include the Culinoromancer's Chest (Requires completion of at least one part of the Recipe for Disaster quest), the grocers in the Tree Gnome Stronghold (2 of them), archery shops, rune shops, general stores.
Believe me, becoming a supplier of simple goods on the Grand Exchange can make you an honest impressive income if you stick with it. It's simple, it's easy, it requires very little in the way of skills (except for access to some shops as a result of quest completion).
Don't believe me? Just go to any shop, buy one of an item, note the price you bought that item for from the shop, do a price check on it and see what it will sell for on the Grand Exchange. You will be amazed!
