WTF slayer tasks..........

Ok Since people have suggested to do slayer as training for attack I am atm, but I've been keeping track of my task and so far 9/11 tasks have been greater demons, I thought the guys choice was random but I'm starting to wonder now, because I'm lvl 69 slayer and there are plently of other monsters he can choose from... so is there a reason i'm getting all these greater demon tasks or does the guy just hate me? :cry:

It is random, I guess he just likes greater demons. Or, he just hates you, and he knows you hate demons, so he gives them to you.

dang it I really was hoping i was doing something wrong in order to get them, so then at least i could change what i was doing and get a new task...

You chould change slayer masters... What slayer master are you useing right now?

You can always ask the easy slayer master in Burthorpe for a new task if you think it's completely hopeless and if you're willing to kill a bunch of goblins or something like that.

I find greater demons to be a great task becuase they drop tons of crimson charms. But if you really don't like them, you can spend 100 slayer points to permanently cancel them.

I think I might have to permanently cancel Basilisks... They have become far to bothersome.

I never beat smoking kills, so I'm stuck with them i guess... and you probably wouldnt like them if you got practically 1100 to kill in a row, only break i got was 50 iron dragons and 30 steel

I may as well go back to pc at this point

You'll only be hurting yourself if you go back to pc, the slayer drops, the slayer experience and not to mention the hitpoints experience will outweigh the faster experience in ONE skill.

So I'm guessing you use Duradel? You can always change tasks by talking to the Burthrope guy and asking a new assignment since you haven't done Smoking Kills yet.

I have gotten 5 in them in a row and I still like them. I think greaters are a perfect for summoning and give a decent amount of XP. What's wrong with that?

hmm maybe you are having a bad week it happens to all of us sooner or later
but do not swicth masters cause if you move higher up in the slayer masters you will most likely get a lot of task in a row since you do not have high slayer yet

since ur getting so many tasks in a row you should get lunar so you can just stay at the location and just contact the master. ive been getting different tasks every time but i use contact npc right after the task is done so i dont have to move if its the same task.

Maybe you haven't done enough quests for other slayer monsters?

Waterfiends need barb training
Suqahs need lunar diplomacy
Warped terrorbird needs Path of Glouphire
Scabarites need dealing with scabaras
Dust Devils need desert treasure
etc.

I take it you're using Duradel?

waterfiends and dust devils is the exception. i havent done any training and i got waterfiends. I think its because of the chaos tunneles and you can kill them in there. dusties are the same way.

you should do smoking kills so you can block the task for 100 slayer points I think
