Cats die of old age?

I know your cat can die if you die with him out.
I know your cat can die at the rat pits.
I know if you dont feed them when growing up they will run away.

I have had my cat (not very 1st one) for like a year now and I always have him out walking with me.
can they die of Old Age?
just by being out.

If they do die of old age
when?

I've never heard of such a thing happening, why don't you ask Jagex via the e-mail system on the website. They'll probably direct you to search the Runescape database, which is also a good idea. There is a page on cats, I think, it'll probably tell you on there.
