should i get full verac ( minus flail )

or dragon legs,verac brassard obby shield, and black mask?

plz help

hmm, if you have a lot of money to repair, the full verac is a good option, otherwise get your gragon legs, verac brassard, obby shield and black mask (still have to repair though =/ ).

Depends if you're doing Slayer, or you're going for looks. If for Slayer, definitely get the mask with whatever you choose. If you'd want to save money on the 'cheaper' of the two outfits, get a Dragon Skirt instead of the legs. I've got one for junk-training, and it gives the same bonuses as the legs.

If you're going for a training outfit, you might want Torag just due to the fact it has a bit better Defensive bonus for most of the stats. The Barrow Melee outfits are all pretty much the same defensive wise, but Verac does have lower bonuses to Melee Defense, but does have more Magic Defense.

Really, you shouldn't get melee barrows unless you're getting the full set (or torags). Even if you got full Veracs, personally I don't like training with it.

Full Verac's without flail comes out to around 2.9M.
Your other outfit comes out to around 3.3M

Within these budgets, I think this is more considerable:

Slayer Helmet: Black mask - 650K
Non-Slayer Helm: Helmet of Neitiznot - 50K?
Torso: Torag's Platebody - 230K
Legs: Torag's Platelegs - 400K
Shield: Obsidian Shield - 350K (replace with rune defender for 0 cost)
Total of this is 1.6M, a lot less.

But it only included the equipment spots you had things on.

But you could also include (your probably have some):

Amulet: Glory - 40K
Cape: Obsidian - 240K (Not much better than legends (practically free)/Quest cape is better if you have one)
Gloves: Barrows - 120K
Boots: Dragon - 300K
Ring: Warrior ring - 300K (only +4 bonus to attacks)
Which, if you want it all, adds 1M to the cost for a total of 2.6M. Cheaper than both your ideas, and I believe better. You can save 250K by substituting the Torag's Platebody for that torso from Barbarian Assualt.

Don't get barrows items without the set unless it's torags, karils or ahrims.

This is what you should do.

Get:

Black mask
Torags body
Torags legs
dragon boots
rune def/obby shield
glory/fury
legends cape/obby cape

If you don't have money to repair barrows get dragon skirt/legs and a fightertorso instead.

Don't get veracs without the full set, it's a waste of money really since the defence can't compare with torags.
