Swiftkit is just a client that helps you play runescape with different features like the hiscore look up and treasure trail help. it's still the same game.

Moved to RS questions as you're asking for help.

SwiftKit doesn't change anything in the game or how it's played, the date over the report abuse and SK over the logout button are only for screenshots. The SK logo to show it was taken using SwiftKit and the date, well to easily know the date it was taken.

Quote:
The easiest way to describe SwiftKit is to imagine a special browser (Internet Explorer [Opera] or Firefox). However, this special browser isn’t designed for browsing websites. It’s designed for playing RuneScape in and, as a result, is full of RuneScape specific utilities, bookmarks to popular guides/websites, and anything else required to give you the edge in RuneScape whilst still remaining within the RuneScape rules.

There are screenshots to show some of the things it offers http://swiftkit.net/index.php?page=screenshots

If you do use it you should be aware that there is the possibility that it can record keystrokes and get your password or get pictures of your bank PIN, but there really has been no one that was hacked from it if they downloaded it from a legitimate location (such as http://www.swiftkit.net/ being the main one)

I don't use Swiftkit anymore, except for the Atlas, which is awesome.

If you're using it just for the Atlas, check out Rsbandb's atlas, found here.

In all honest I find the Swiftkit Atlas much more convenient.

You can set a marker anywhere on the map, right click and find easy ways to access that place.

You can search any place by typing its name and it will give you a list.

And you can display completed Treasure Trail puzzles.

1. You may not be able to find transportaion ways to get to places, but who needs them? You can also mark places.
2. You need to type in a name of a place? If you don't know the map names already, you can learn by going through the BnB map and learn. Otherwise the only need for the search is just to find the main city.
3. The Treasure Trail puzzles would could be found easier in the Submission list.

It would be extremely useful, but I personally don't trust third party software. If you want to trust all the work you put into your account with some random dude, go for it.

How would any of those be more helpful?
1.Who needs transportation? I think everybody.
2.I would rather type he name of a place in than search the whole RS map for it. For example, not many people are interested in studying a map when they want to know where Sanguinesti region is.
3.Going to forums.rsbandb.com, going to submissions, going to mini-games, finding the guide, and finding the specific area in that large guide is a lot easier than two clicks?

I have to side with SwiftKit on the map, but that's the only thing I'd ever use it for.
