Barrows - Slayer Dart, Ancients or else?

As title says, I'm wondering whether Slayer Dart or Ancients is best to kill the barrows brothers faster.

I know that ancients are more costly in a way, but is it that much costlier? Because you can use the teleport to Canifis to save some time... IDK.

Ancients are more powerful spells but slayer dart is generally used by most people. This is because you can wear rune armour (or other armour that reduces magic stats) and it is hardly reduced at all if you stick to using slayer dart. The advantage here is you carry less changes in armour types. There is also the fact that the runes you get from Barrows is what you use for slayer dart.

Hands down, Slayer Dart.

When I Barrow'ed, I used:

Mage > Melee Brothers
Range > Ahrim
Melee > Karil

Made about 8m in a week, so I think that method is pretty effective.

Yeah, slayer dart for maging.

If you want to use ancients for the canifis teleport, just build a portal chamber by your entrance garden in your POH with a Canifis portal, and bring house teleport tabs to barrows. Also beneficial if it's connected to a chapel which is connected to the garden instead.

Or, if blood runes are still dirt cheap (haven't checked) use god spells. I've used them once and they worked amazingly. Killed each brother in about 5 casts

Melee > Everything.

However, when I used to mage there as well, I would use slayer dart. It works quite well, even when I wore full Torag. I'd suggest switching to Dragonhide when you are praying, for the potential increase in magic attack. Pray on Dharock first, then move to Karil, Ahrim, and potentially Verac if you've got prayer left. After that, whatever you want. At the end, you'll at least replenish the Mind + Death supply, if not increase.

use slayer dart cause u get the runes back from the barrows
and if u get high con u can put a canifis portal in ure house

I am glad you posted this question. I am lvl 97 cb and still haven't ever used barrows. I think that I should give it a try becuase I hear it makes real good money.

im a person who does barrow a lot and i tried ancient it good but it costly

now i use slay dart cheap and mage xp and i get the runes back + more item each time i go
the best way is to have a home which can tele to Kharyrll this will save a lot of money and save a lot of time because u dont need to walk all the way from varrock all the time.

well with your stat i think you can start ddsing against karils but you must pray and super set pot w/o def ahrims range or melee since u have already potted up.

Depends on your combat.

On one of my mains, I have 95 combat, and he can do barrows with the High Water spell. (Forgot the name)

Anyway, here's a few good examples of what you should take:

That's what I'd do. It's up to you, but it doesn't matter. I've done it all meleeing before, and it wasn't hard. Just bring more prayer pots than food. 7 prayer pots is a good amount, and a few sharks.

I always use melee for barrowing. but i always carry runes to teleport if i get in trouble :wink:

When I do barrows, U use the highest blood spell with regular magic. and i make all my runes back
