For about the same price, is it better to have (in terms of accuracy and/or damage) :

Addy(p) bolt OR
Emerald(e) bolt

?

I know that Emerald ones are Mithril, so it would be logical to think that Addy hits harder. However, does the emerald add some damage too? Thus, which is stronger?

Also, is the poison from Addy better than the Emerald? :? Last time I checked Addy(p) was about 60 gp higher than Emerald(e)....

Thanks if you guys have any clue.

It doesn't really work like that.

My max with addy bolts is in the low 20s. I hit a 44 with a ruby tipped addy bolt (e)...

I've never used emerald tipped bolts, but I'm guessing they will be stronger (I really have no idea though).

an emerald bolt (e) will hit with a super poison effect (6 damage poison) that will let you know when you poison them. because it is a randomly activated special, it is guaranteed to do good damage on that hit. its max hit is 1-2 below adamant bolts. admaant (p) would only poison for 2, and you won't know if you poison or not. theres no special either. however, you have less chance of losing adamant bolts when you use the accumulator, whereas with emerald (e) every time you get a special attack that bolt is lost for good.thus

emerald bolts (e)

pros:
random special will hit well and alert you to a sucessful poisoning.
poison deals 6 damage.

cons:
a bit less damage from actual attacks, thus less exp
bolts that hit a special are lost forever.

adamant bolts (p)

pros:
slightly more damage from actual attacks, so more exp.
not lost as often so you get more use for your gold.
still poisons a bit.

cons:
less poison damage which can't be ID'd till you see the damage itself.

you pick.

As peeex said, you should hit higher with any adamant bolt when compared to mithril. You'd have to describe what you'll be doing with the bolts, as each would benefit you in different ways.

Pretty much follow Cooper's suggestions. If you're going to go train, I'd stick with the (e) mithril, just due to them being cheaper. Or, if you've got a fairly constant supply of adamant bars / ore coming in, you can supplement it with adamant bolts.
