I've recently started training range. I have been training in the guild at the towers, hill giants, zoo, and varrock sewers. I am currently 46 range. Where are the best spots for me to train and with what axes, knives, or bows/arrows. Thanks

For now, I suggest using a a Yew Shortbow, and using something like bronze, or iron arrows. Stick to something that has a low defence too, since at that level range doesn't hit too well. I'd say Moss Giants, or Rock Crabs are your best option.

Always use a Shortbow with the best arrows you can have, and have it on Rapid fire.

Complete Animal Magnetism quest so you don't have to keep picking your arrows up.

Ditto on this. At lower levels, a magic shortbow is your best bet for quick and efficient levels. The backpack you get from Animal Magnetism is worth any time you spend on it..Seriously, get it.

As for places to train, I'd also recommend the Rock Crabs due to their low defence, ability to auto attack, and the fact that they hardly ever hit anyone (including someone with literally no defence). If you find these dull, finding a good spot to attack Greater Demons or Fire Giants would get you your level, and some cash while you're at it.

Also, there's no need to use Sapphire tipped bolts..The special attack only works on players, meaning it won't help you if you are training. Just use mithril bolts

But, if you can, I would use sapphire tipped that ARNT enchanted, so you wont waste money. For spots, I would go behind the bushes at the orges.

The experiments are a fantastic place to train, although there are often lots of people training there lol, plus you have to do a quest to access the area where they are...umm that's all I got, GL with range *thumbs up*

I tried topaz bolts because I had all the materials laying around, from other activities, to make them. They work pretty good.
