Problem with members?

having a problem making my pure members.

it always says card declined and removes the card confirmation number so im assuming thats the problem.

the card is a visa prepaid card.

i put in the two different numbers that are where the confirmation should be but niether work.

any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure you can use prepaid cards, has to be a credit card. Of course, I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about, just putting the idea out.l

Prepaid cards work. I have used one in the past.

Are you sure you have activated your prepaid card? Try calling the 1-800 number on the back of your card.

eh good idea ill try calling the 1-800 number, but i checked the site for it and it said the card had a balance of 50$ so i tihnk it was activiated.

Well, that is what happened to Curtis (lord Zamorak) he had to call in, and then the problem was fixed.

Use a credit card next time.

but im sure jagex with let you use a prepaid after all if they didnt, Im sure they would lose lots of customers.

i pay buy phone so cant really help you but have you got an overdaft on that card it could be the reason

i use a prepaid card for mine... they recently updated cards so you must activate them to use them for online or telephone purhcases.

go to allaccessgift.com and log into your account with the number on the front and the 3 digit confirmation code on the back as your password, then you can use it for online purchases and phone purchases.

if you have errors logging in, then call the number on the bottom of the back of the card and tell them about your issue and they can activate the card for you over the telephone.

i had to do that for a 50$ card i used last. i couldn't log in and i had to call them. they activated it for em and i could re-register as a member. i actually do have a debit card, but i prefer to have a spending limit so i don't add every account i make to members. by using a gift card you can plan which accounts you want to be member and when. if i didn't add any other accounts to membership, i could keep potatoreaper as a member till may of 08. but i might upgrade my pure to member so i can complete its training :p
