How should i beat monkey madness?

I am a level 74 and I am going to take on the quest monkey madness.
I was wondering how I should kill the demon.
My stats are:

63 attack
65 strength
50 defense
43 range
49 mage
44 prayer

If it is mage, please specify which spell to use

Use a cannon, and hide behind the Mushrooms. Make sure you have Protect from Magic on.

Only step out to refill your cannon. It's best if you stand behind the cannon.

ALSO, BRING ANTI POISON FOR WHEN YOU GET TELEPORTED BACK TO APE ATOLL! I MADE THIS MISTAKE AND HAD TO HAVE MY SISTER COME AND GIVE ME SOME.

I ranged it, i waited till bout 30 hp left on demon, then ranged it, good luck. Dont be surprised if you get to frustrated with it and try like 4 time to finish quest. It took me liek 6 months cause i was so frustrated.

Only hide across the cliff if you don't have 37 prayer.

If you have that the demon is a pushover.

Use range, yew bow and some rune arrows and it'll be so easy.

you could also mage them (i used the cheapest robe in the world and it took me a long time) protect from mage, and also don't forget to block him by using the benches.

I used ranged, and had 50+ range when I did it. It was quite easy at this level and I had 43 prayer like you so it shouldn't be too hard.

Just get far from the demon and range him with protect from magic on. Bring a p pot and anti poison pot.
