Daggonoths are good training. And also I found some place on an island you go to on Monkey Madness with a lot of moneys in a small amount of space.

Personally I find that unless you have good armour with good ranged defence dagganoth are only good to cannon.

Slayer, is by far the best way to level up combat. You make money and level up another skill (as well as combat stats). I alched over 1.6 million yesterday from rune and addy items.

Of course, slayer isn't for everybody, and at low levels it will not make as much money as you would at high levels. Nevertheless, grinding one monster for ages can be tiring, and slayer offers a variety at least.

If you try slayer and decide you don't like it, Fire Giants, Greater Demons, Ice Warriors, Rock Crabs and, if you have the armour, Dagganoth are also very good monsters to train on. Even the experiments underneath Castle Frekenstrain are good training.

I would have to agree with Anubis, Slayer is probably the best way to train any combat skill besides prayer. It offers quite a variety of monsters to attack, and many of those monsters drop unique items.

I've been training at Abyssal Demons since I got 85 slayer, basically "grinding". It is HIGHLY boring, and I would not reccommend anyone stays at a monster for 12k+ kills as I have done so far. I just want to finish training strength for good (getting level 99) and then it's back to Slayer for me. The reason I am here is because of the 150hp the demons have, giving me 600 exp per kill.

If you wanted to stay at a monster for a very long time, you'd also want that monster to have high hp for its combat level, as well as it not being able to hit you very high. This is why many low levels train at the Rock Crabs (level 13) near Rellaka. They each have 50 hp, low defense, and virtually never hit even if you have 1 defense.

I will add my vote for Slayer assignments. They make combat training more diverse and therefore less boring. Plus Slayer monsters normally give better drops than non-Slayer. There are a few very low level Slayer monsters which you can kill for money!
Banshees would be a good example. You can easily make about 120K per hour on them, and they are lvl 23 only.

A good way to train attack is to just train it? Its like asking whats the best way to get firemaking up...burn logs.

The best way to get firemaking up is to burn logs- That doesn't explain what logs to burn.
Please answer questions seriously, this is not helpful at all. -Mod Edit

That is the best possible way you could have put that.

Slayer is a great way. However, if you have high mentality you can go to the experiments. Very good experience.
