No eggs currently have any use, I have a blue egg and so far all it has done is collect dust in my bank.

It seems very odd that Jagex would but eggs into the game if they didn't have at least a planned use in the future. I would hold onto the egg as long as you have the space - Its not the most common item to get and if/when they have a use it would be nice to not have to go and find another egg

Who said they did have a planned use? I have things in my closest that have been there for 3 years, and they all have a planned use. Maybe their waiting so they make a really good update. Maybe they rather make short, simple, and pointless quests.

Dont drop it! Jagex Mods themselves have said that they will have a use in the upcomming future, Maybe a very Useful and Important use. Drop it, and you may throw away your chance at it till you get another egg.

They're hard to get, I have a green one.

It's speculated the colours represent the gods, I think we'll make some stat boosting food which will represent the gods also.

Scrambled Egg of Zamorak: +8 Strength and heals 10hp
Scrambled Egg of Saradomin: +8 Defence and heals 10hp
Scrambled Egg of Guthix: +4 Strength/Defence and heals 10hp

I believe that'll be the most likely outcome.
