Ranging

My current ranging is level 52 and incredibly hard to get up as f2p, maybe because Im just lazy, I really dont know. So Im gonna become member again and buy a cannon and try to get to level 70 range. My combat lvl is 73 incase you need to know that to answer my questions.
1. Is this the fastest way to get my ranging up?
2. Where is the best place to set up my cannon?
3. How many cannon balls do you estimate I will need?
If you dont think this is the fastest way to get up ranging tell me why. Money doesnt matter much either.

100,000 c balls!?!?! Are you out of your mind? I was thinking more like 20k - 25k c balls.... If its gonna have to be 100k... then I dont know if its really worth making/buying them. I value your opinion though and its good to know that you think all take that much

. I still wanna see what other people think though

That would probably be one of the best ways to do it. If you don't want to make all those cannon balls or buy all of them, then mabye try using arrows. Get a whole mess of bronze arrows, around 20k or so, and go to greater demons cage. It will start off slow until you get about 60 or so, but you get clues and rune larges so the spot pays for itself. I would do the cannon over that though.

Ya Im guessing Ill just use the cannon. No ones said i dont need that many c balls (100k), does that mean I actually do? Cause thats a lot.... I dont really know where the greater demons cage is either.. can someone help me out with that? I was thinking about just using 20k c balls.. will that be enough? I would also like to know the price of cannon, isnt it around 600k?

Depends where you buy the cannon from it can be up to 750k the good thing about cannons though is that if you are making a pure it doesnt level up your hits.

Cannons are 600k.

Don't deploy at fally centre, put it at rock crabs on the east side. Not in rellaka. King Lathas's training ground is good for cannoning with ranging. Get like 100k iron arrows and power range at watchtower ogres.

Yeah cannon is a good Idea, since you can also range on the side while the cannon is fireing.

Probably, but wouldn't you rather not be a jerk? Think of your fellow players before you make the decision.

Wherever I'm not at. Within that category, the Dagannoth under the lighthouse are best, assuming you've done Horror from the Deep.

3. How many cannon balls do you estimate I will need?
125k by my reckoning.

Whats that supposed to mean? Im not trying to be a jerk, I just never ranged with cannon and want some opinions. Dont have to be so judgmental. Anyways, I think Ill just see how I do with 10k c balls and will most likely continue the rest of the way on bronze and iron arrows. Im guessing most people are telling me to go to the ogres at king lathas, i dont know where that is. Can somebody please help me out? thx

What I think she means is that..when you pull out a cannon in Fally centre, there are people around you who probably might want to work on thieving or lower-lvled players who are working on combat. It's an inconvenience to people who are trying to kill guards too.
