How do I cut through the bloody spider web?

So I was trying to get one of my friends' characters into the lava maze to use him as a scout for mining Runite. However, when I tried to cut through the web, it said, "You need a sharp weapon to cut through this web." I had a bronze sword with me, so obviously that isn't short enough. What weapon do I need to cut the dang web? I can't wield anything over bronze lol.

Bronze should work, just keep clicking till you get in i think.

any weopen that uses slash..can even be a wc axe

Keep in mind that you need to be weilding the weapon or using it with the web. Just having it in your inventory and clicking won't work.

Yeah, you can use something as simple as a knife. You just have to click the knife and then the web everytime but it's better than bringing an expensive weapon into the wild.

Alright, thanks to all of you. I think the problem was that I didn't have the weapon wielded, but I can't remember for sure.
