Whtas Better For pking? Pure str or pure range?

whats better because im range at mo and im wery of pking, ive had no winning on ma range yet and its putting me down. should i change to strength? but if i do i have the problem on mage's killin me. i can not be mage for being pretty poor? what do u suggest?

Can't you get the highest possible of everything for lets say lvl 85 cb. x attack+y str=85 cb, then get range for 85 cb and magic for 85 cb. I don't see why people don't use their full potential on a pk'er. Having range 80 and magic 1 will give you the same combat lvl as range 80 and magic 80 anyway.. Use a combat calc to check what skills you can have, they're fairly accurate, but do mistakes ones in a while.
