is there a shorter way to that elf world rather than going through underground pass over and over again? it's really irritating

yes there is by doing regicide u gain access to the mountain trail north of the underground pass' exit. or by doing mourning end part 1 u gain access to the teleport crystal that when charged will allow u to teleport directly to the small elven village in the southern region.

You need to have done Roving Elves for MEP1.

The mountain trail (arrandar) is the best way to get to the elven lands. Be sure to bring food and antipoisons when you go though.

um... whenever I went to the Elven lands (after Regicide), I teleported to Lumbridge, and took the glider to the Grand Tree. From there, I went south and west to the Elven gates. There's a huge, long, path there that is very annoying but a LOT better than the pass (I HATE PASS!!!!!!). Just follow through and make sure you bring food and antipoisons as you will have to pass through dire wolves (lvl 88) and a trip wire. Check the elven lands maps for more information. Don't know where the map is now on rsbandb but the regicide guide on RuneHQ has one.

If you hate the pass now wait till you start making Death Runes the hard way, the altar is IN the Underground Pass...

And yes, after the Regicide Quest, you no longer have to take the Underground Pass to get to the Elf Lands. The mountain pass takes you into the mountain region, and the trail takes you slightly north of where you get out from the Underground Pass. Just make sure you take the southern most path, the western one takes you towards the unopened city gate.
