Symbol Help

I am planning on making about 10,000 unholy symbols. Then I plan on stringing them. I want to know if I should sell them as unholy symbols, or wait until I am member and bless them. Does blessing them give any exp? What are the prices for unstrung, unblessed, and holy symbols? I will stick with this, seeing as smelting the 10,000 silver bars will bring me up to level 60 smithing.

well...I know you can bless then with holy/unholy books...but I don't know the cost for it per blessing. I'd stick with just going unstrung as it saves a lot of time and finger ache

There is no cost for blessing only like 31 pray to get into the so called "Prayer Guild" and the guy there does it for you... You should also know that you can't make unholy symbols if you are f2p, from reading your post that is the way I understand it.

I don't think anyone is interested in buying unsstrung or unblessed symbols. I think you can sell it much easier to a shop. However you will get less money of it. Oh and smelting 10.000 silver bars isn't raising your smithing lvl. It's raising your crafting lvl.

Smelting silver and gold gives smithing exp. Making jewelry from them gives crafting exp.

Finally... I get to correct a MOD!!! Smelting 10 000 silver into bars DOES raise your smithing lvl.

Making them into symbols, however, gives you crafting xp.

To the prior post by the person, I suggest just making the symbols and selling them. Stringing them is a long, tedious process and unless you plan on mass blessing and selling them, I suggest not doing it at all.

well... how should i get from about 53 to 70 crafting? or should i wait till member? cause i figured i would high alch em or somethin, cause leathers are horrible

I sold them to the grocery store unstrung for 20 each.

I made about 50k and it took a looooong time. I was bored :lol:

haha... i'm tinking of hiring my friend and bro to help string em.. then when all 3 us go member, we can bless em (if gives exp)... then i plan to high alch em
but if blessing dont give exp... then i might have to stick with gems, rings, and ammys

if ur not a member then u can make unholy symbols first off.
secondly, no experience gained from getting them blessed or by blessing them urself with one of the god books, tho u do need lvl 50+ pray to use the books.

far as i know not many people buy holy or unholy symbols so ur most likely gonna be selling them to a general store, or 100, i wouldn't expect to much profit offa them as most peeps who do buy them for some reason only pay 1k and usually are only buyin one.

No-one buys these in such bulk, so string half of them, and sell all to the general store. (half because youll get slightly more money)
