what is this arrow for?????

i was playing in the game and i kept noticeing these (maby you have too)

can anyone tell me what it is?????

whenever i turned it turned too so it wasnt pointing anywhere either....

Those symbols indicates some sort of transportation. You find them at docks, teleport levers, all the rune essence teleporters, spirit trees and so on.

Yes they have added new icons. That arrow that is in your minimap is showing the teleport to the rune esses mine. If you look at the world map and keys you can go down to the last page or something and notice it has that arrow and it says "transportation" or some of that sort.
