My first Treasure Trail and questions

I've been a paying member for 2 days and I just did my first Treasure Trail.

How often can I expect to see dropped clues?

It was a series of about 6 clues that lead to 14 law runes, addy pick and addy dagger.

I had to kill a lvl 44 dog, a lvl 20 guard and do a lot of walking.

Is that a typical haul for that level of effort?

It was very exciting to see the clue drop. Man, being a member is a lot more entertaining even though I don't have a lick of dragon armor, or even anything that I couldn't have had for free.

try to buy a ring of wealth or glory i dont know how it called and than you gonna get rarer drops often
and kill high lvl monsters to get 3 lvl clues and get better treasure

Very interesting.

Who drops those rings of wealth, or how much do they cost.

Sadly, I have just over 50k in the bank, and I fear they cost more than that.

85-90k, the ring of wealth makes rare monster drops a bit more common,but they dont make clues more common

After some research, I realize that that was a lvl 2 trail

So, I could've gotten the stuff below???

- All rare Adamant armor (Golden, Trimmed)
- Fire Battlestaff
- Headband
- Ranger Boots
- Wizard Boots

Does level two generally give you addy stuff and level three generally give you rune stuff?

level 1 clues from goblins and enything around lvl 15 and below monsters
level 2 clues from guards and anything generally lvl 20-60+
level 3 clues from greendrags and monsters around that level

level 1 clues black armour
level 2 clues addy armour
level 3 clues rune armour (+ god armour)

Ring of wealth only helps you get rarer items if you ahve gotten it b4. I read this on the official rs forums so dont flame me on lying.

Best way to do treasure trails... kill GREEN DRAGONS.
I've gotten 2 level three treasure trails from them and around 80k per trail. It's worth it but you might have to go into high level wildy to get the reward or fight level 108 Saradomin Follower or level 74 Zamorak Follower to get the treasure. In my experience of treasure trailing, I have gotten:

-Rune full helm, rune dagger, 15 super pots (5 of atk, str, and def) (LVL 3)
-(3)Black D-hide chaps, (15) Cooked Shark, (15) Cooked Lobsters (LVL 3)
-Highwayman Mask, (9) Cooked Salmon (LVL 2)
-Studded Chaps, (5) Cooked Trout (LVL 1)
