Guilded plate vs rune plate. (Dragon slayer needed?)

As everyone knows green dragonhide, rune and god armor chest peices need completion of dragon slayer.

I found out blue, red, and black dhide doesnt need the quest complete.

but does guilded?
are the reqs for guilded plate just 40 defense?

not sure, but i think this belongs in rs questions... but since its in discussion, and i dont have an answer, i'll discuss. now that you've brought it to my attention, i rather do think that dragon slayer should be required to wear any dragon hide bodies, because it is very easy to skip over the green body without doing a quest, and picking back up with full blue at 50 ranged. same thing for plate/chainbodies etc... the dragon chain should also req d slayer. and at that point, d slayer would be no prob. also, that would shove a tight wad up in all those rich braggarts that have level 27 accs in full dragon w/toktz ket xil. if the shield can require a quest, shouldn't the chain as well?

In the quest Elvarg is a green dragon, I think thats the reason why.

Also you only do that quest to wear a Rune Platebody and as it's a F2P quest it shouldn't be required for a Dragon Chain.

I'm not too sure about the gilded platebody though.

I wouldn't think the guilded plate requires Dragon Slayer.

As for the Dragon Chain, it should require a hard quest to wear rather than Dragon Slayer, if they were to put the requirement. Maybe Desert Treasure since you go into the Smoke Dungeon place during it.

There should be a dragon slayer part 2 or something like it. The requirements should probably be maybe 70-80+ combat to keep the unworthy away from the dragon and dragon hide armor.

I always thought you did have to do dragon slayer to wear all the hide chests

. Anyways, it's not like anyone who can wear black, red, and blue, wouldn't be able to handle dragon slayer (40 defense plus 50/60/70 range).

I think it does, as I remember testing to see if I could wear a Sara plate without dslayer and not being able to wear it. I don't think Gilded is any different.

I think the only things that require Dragon Slayer is just F2P.

They might be skipping d slayer to remain a pure

I'm not sure, but i think that dragon slayer is required for all the hide bodies. I remember several people selling 'pure sets' of black dragonhide.
