Is 99 range good for everyday use? Like instead of walking around attacking guards with a whip, is it worth it to use c bow / bow instead? What is the best way to get 99? What weapon and monster? Tell me all informantion I needed to know about this!

I just did slayer up until 98 and then used chins for the last level. Doing slayer you'll at least get slayer xp and charms.

99 range is worth it beucase it's always cool to go around to noobies in castle wars and own them.

I don't know about killing those really difficult lvl 20 guards though

Only if you can stand back and range, IMO (in my opinion).

slayer seems to be good way to trian ranged now but don't stick whit crrosbow use bow for tasks that don't rq shields and crrosbow for those which do rq shield using mith+ ammo should speed up ur trianing alot. Well if you ever be of slayer fire giants are prety good xp to ranged or you could go to metals for a nice amount of cash. And yes ranged definetly worth it from me own experiance i can say that owning maxed melees at me cmb is prety sweet felling :)
