I have problems getting in there. I've done the miniquest, gotten the book and the small pouch. The guy in the church in Varrock says I have to go and speak with him in wildy so he can teleport me from there. The guy in wildy has the teleport option, but doesn't want to teleport me. He says I have to go to Varrock and talk with him there. What the hell is wrong!? I threw away the book I got because those things has never been of use to me, and I can always get them again if I do need them. So how do I get in? Do I actually need the book in my stash or what? Baaaaaaaaaaaah! I wanna make cosmics a bit more effective than what I'm doing running all the way to Zanaris! boo!

did you tele from all the rune ess people with your orb?

just do everything over again. you had to have done something wrong.

I did tele from them, yes.. Walking from varrock to ardougne is pretty far. I can't teleport?

I got in now, don't know why it didn't work earlier. Anywya, how do people run in here? I found myself losing 50 life before I was able to thieve myself in.. ius that a standard day in the Abyss, or do people wear some kind of armor to protect from all the hits? ALso what's the best? Mining, agility or thieving? I was going to use agility, but didn't find the thing to squeeze through

I usually wear a hatchet or pickaxe I can afford to loose (anything but rune probably, i take a rune pick though), and try and get through the first thing I find (the tunnel, distract eyes, or mine rocks)...

If some of your levels are particularily low you might want to try and do the thing you have the highest level in so you wont fail so much

Just bring a Rune Pickaxe, a regular axe and a tinderbox. That's all you really need. Also you should bring food, I almost died one time there because I kept on failing in the Thieving portion of it... And yeah, wear cheap Dragonhide, lousy melee protection, but you will get snared less. :wink:

I just take the agility or theiving obstacles to get to the middle.

OK thanks =) I'll get myself some crapaxe then. Right now I'm wearing addy chain, full helm and legs. Gives me ~100 def and lets me survive there, losing only ~15 hp so I feel sorta safe =)

Whenever I go, I just wear full black dragonhide and a glory ammy, that way will hopefully stop any tele-blockers. I distract the eyes, because while you are "distracting" them, the monsters don't hurt you.

How come it's almost impossible to get these pouches? I've wasted 50 sharks without getting one yet..

It's really hard to get them. I suggest you stay at the leeches, they hit fast, but there all 2's. When you range them you might actually kill them before they reach you. (considering that they don't attack you because you're twice their lvl)
