They are the ammo for Karils crossbow. Its a barrows weapon.

they're basically like rune arrows, but one time use only... a lot cheaper too, 200 gp each

I don't know if you can call that cheaper. You can use Rune Arrows multiple times, if you pick them up.

but people can steal rune arrows if your pking they cant if your useing bolt racks but karils bow is slow and i wouldnt recommend pking with it you would have a better chance with mage short.

It is slow, all crosbows are slower than shorts. But i guess if oyu have 90+ range it dosent matter your still gona own.

karil's crossbow, and people use Karil's, its pretty common to me, i see plenty of people in full blk dhide, and crossbow.
