Sharing my day with you.

Just thought I'd share a little snippet of my day with you. Had to attend a meeting on an island in Lake Erie, which is one of the Great Lakes. Travel to the island is by ferry (a rather large one). During the ferry sailing back to the mainland in the late afternoon (4:30 pm) I'm sitting here on the upper deck on the stern of the ferry looking out over the water.... my headphones/mp3 player on listening to the latest episode of RSBandBUpdate! as well as some RS music (as you will hear in the video). PERFECT weather, sunny, not too warm, not too cool. This is what it felt like to me:



What a blessing this afternoon was to me. Thank you God. And, you guys were a part of it.

Sometimes you just have to sit back and capture the moment for posterity. I nearly cried

D'aww, so nice. What a beautiful day for it. I've had a couple of dreams lately about going back to France with my family. It reminded me how great it was to be there and I wish I'd had more time to soak everything in. My favourite memories are of meals because they're the ones where Dad and I were actually just sitting still and appreciating the atmosphere and the environment, watching everything going on around us. You definitely have to seize those moments when you can.
