I never hold doors open for people as I know they're perfectly capable of doing it themselves.

What if they're just a few feet behind you and the door will most likely hit them?

Then I'd open the door for me and push it a bit harder so they have time to get through.

If they still managed to get smacked in the face, I'd remember next time that are incapable of opening doors.
