Heh, I know my cat can get food out of a jar, but I haven't seen him try to open one yet. Haven't seen him eat a peanut either, but I guess I've never offered him one so you never know.

My 3rd/4th grade teacher's parents were saved by their cat when their house caught on fire, or when it started filling with carbon monoxide..Something like that. It woke them up, made them realize it wasn't safe to be in the house.

I would laugh so hard if it turned out that cat was allergic to peanuts and went into major anaphylactic shock. That would teach him not to have his nuts out.
