So is this just a remake of the non-animated one?

And what's it called when a movie/tv-show is 3d animated like that? Just animated?
Imo, animated, I think of Saturday morning cartoons.

only reason they made this movie is because in the fall they are going to start a star wars cartoon series on cartoon network based around the clone war era.

Movie eh? This'll definetly be entering the household when it's a DVD. Might even see it. I tried following the series on CN but .. wasn't very successful.
