I showed Kelsey it. Apparently there's about 5 or 6 different things and the script picks one randomly. I only saw ditto once though.

I've always wondered if Splash was intentionally put into the game or started off as an internal joke at Game Freak.

The sad thing is in my old pokemon days i did get into that situation once or twice, no pokemon left and forced to go magikarp v magikarp.

The only option you have left is to use up all the splashes he has and then he'll start doing struggle..i think it is?
