KoRn = Father band of nu-metal
Offspring = Punkish i spose.

Soad are mint. Don't get why everyones saying your hairs long like ... It's really not.

Ohh good band choices, well, besides offspring, punk sucks, so do they. Like all punk, there songs start off good then they just get annoying.

The Clash is the best punk band. They're ACTUALLY punk...

Hmm lets see I listen to mainly metal rock. Im not a huge fan of those old-school bands like AC/DC. I mean I like a few of their songs but I just cant litsten to them all the time like I can with the ones above. I mainly listen to Relient K because my girlfriend loves them :roll:

. I also like some of those bands that almost nobody have heard about like AFI and Goldfinger.

Edit: Get the AFI song! Its called The Boy Who Destroyed the World. If you've played Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 then this might be a little familiar to you.

I have heard of AFI in a song name Tall Cans In The Air by Transplant. And I'm sure you don't know who they are

Transplant is Tim Armstrong from Rancid an old punk groups, Travis Barker one of the best drummer and my favorite

and Rob Abston...dunno him! all i remember it's they say AFI in they're song so...lol

genres change, as do meanings of words and phrases. What was punk in the 70s is not necessarily punk now. What was gothic in the 80s is not necessarily Gothic music now.

*** pistols, The Clash and other great punk bands from a few decades back are a whole lot different to what most people see as Punk now.

I'm not ignorant, I know what punk is and what it's "all about".

Most 'punk' bands today are actually what I call "punk-pop" or "emo".

I remember a while back on the runescape forums tons of rants in off topic that greenday was emo *-)

I must say, some of Greenday's new songs are emotional, but the whole idea of Emo is pathetic. emo = Emotional music? Pfft, What is music with no emotion anyway? Sound...
