I wouldn't say you're still a child at 18. I'm 18 and there's nothing I'm not allowed to do because of my age.

Are we talking legally here? You can't drink at 18 legally. Where I live they also changed the gambling age from 18. So, illeaglly :roll:

I can drink legally at 18. That's England for you. You don't have to wait until you're 21.

But still... I'd say you not a child anymore once you turn at least 16. That's the legal age that people are allowed to have ***. Also at 17 you're legally allowed to drive a car.

Thought you might have lived somewhere else. Anyways, in the states, we can drive at 15 1/2 with a permit (this is in my state). (In some states, it is actually more like 14). Britain and the United States have some pretty different laws. It all just depends on interpretation. :wink:

yeah i agree, i dont veiw a 16 year old as a child..and i also think its lame here in the US you can give your life for the government at age 18, but you cant drink :roll:

...you can start driveing at 15 here

...so i only gotta wait 2 more months! =D>

Here we can drink at 18 and do certain adult activities at 16 i think.... legally.
