Dragonball: Evolution

" The story begins with Goku, who seeks out upon his adoptive grandfather Grandpa Gohan's dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls. Of which he has one, in order to prevent the evil Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world. And Goku's quest is to obtain the mystical Dragonballs before Piccolo does. "

This film was destined to be bad from the moment it was announced and going by the actors i think I'm correct in saying that.

Pity, looks like a pretty high budget film, besides the actors who, even in that trailer i just can't seem to take seriously.

..I mean they've got an American called Goku, that alone makes me smerk.

Excuse my language but this looked like a piece of ****. They just ruined a perfectly good series. As a dragonball z fan, I am very mad.

Yah this looks so very stupid, they should of done something like Final Fantasy where they make it look almost realistic but still keep the animation. Definatly something that will SUCK.

dragon ball z was my all time favorite show growing up.
i can not say that about any other show.
these kinda looks like an epic fail.
he can't even say kamehameha right XD

we'll just have to see if it sucks or not.
but whens it come out?

I didn't say that he was. All that means is the shows about as laughable as the film is going to be. Goku is a japense name, I can see how perhaps you could give it to a cartoon character..it's probably up in the air which country he originates from and art style would get in the way perhaps.

But in a film, sorry when you look at the guy playing "goku" he doesn't seem like a goku at all. XD Doesn't fit the role.

Well yeah it;s a jap name caz he is a alien who happened to land it Japan :wink:

But I completly agree, he looks puny, well it kins makes sence since this is Dragonball not Dragonball Z. Goku was not all eh big in te Dragonball series

Also isnt Goku the guy from Fast and the Furious?

No, no, no, no, NO! They can't do this! That is absolutely terrible! I agree, this will completely ruin the series. It looks ridiculous and nothing close to the manga. Seems like some bad acting too. And too much drama. The manga had comedy. Argh, I'm just going to stop complaining before I go on a rant (yes, I'm a DB(Z) fan).

For God's sake, why is it one word? Can't they at least spell it right?

This movie does look bad or maybe we're just not use to it looking like a cartoon. I'll watch but I'm not paying for it.

This movie is probably going to be super dependent upon hardcore DBZ fans. They should've just made an anime to cut down the budget and that would've probably brought in tons of previous, casual DBZ fans in. Now, they're spending 100m+ for effects, actors, effects and did I say effects? I think this is going to be an utter failure.
