One of my first poems: Smoke & Mirrors

This about how I've been feeling:


Why do words have to be so unclear?
That leave the hearer shaking in fear.
Relationships that could have been,
Now in a folder that now says "Fin".
Actions that appear as smoke and mirrors,
like trying to drive after a few many beers.


Wondering why they are all the same,
and looking inward for who's to blame.
While looking forward and they leading on,
Blinded to the fact that it all might be a con.


So we look to another goodbye,
With a shrug and a sigh,
We look to the dawn,
looking for that everlasting bond.



The bond that drives people crazy,
With the words that are oh so hazy.
Yet brings people together,
like the wind and a feather.

I like that part the best, the second line the most.
This is a good poem, I honestly liked it =-D
