A poem

This is a poem i wrote some time ago. I was looking at the front of a Harry Potter book - 'Order of the pheonix' and decided to write this;

THE FIREBIRD.

The firebird soaring in the sky,
Flames as hot as the raging lava rivers of hell.
It is looking for some prey.
Eyes as sharp as an eagles,
Looking, looking.
It sees a wolf,
The wolf sees the firebird,
It tries to run,
But the firebird catches it and puts it's life to an end.
The firebird goes back to it's nest.
It sees an egg is missing,
It is in a rage now,
Angry, angry
It leaves the wolf at it's nest so tht the live young may eat.
The firebird is flying in an angry rage,
Looking for it's victim,
The poor victim that will have to face the firebird's wrath.
It sees an egg,
It's egg.
But there is no flame.
The baby bird has been killed.
The firebird calling out a cry,
Crying, crying.
Nobody knows what it is saying,
But it can mean only one thing,
It is out for revenge,
Seeking, seeking.

Please note that i was in grade 7 when i wrote this. Also note that it is meant to be read in a dark tone of voice.

Thanks for the great feedback guys . As requested, i shall write another one, but it wont be too soon, because i have half-yearly's for school, in preperation for the school certificate. But keep a look-out on these forums every week or so....
