Best attempt yet

This guy did the best job at it, except I think he made afew mistakes in the solo. The funniest thing was a little "blooper" that happens halfway through the main solo around 5 minutes.

What do you think of the blooper?

Yeah why do all dragonforce songs sound that same? "lets play the same 5 chords in all of our songs!"lol ive heard alot better then him, infact i think its a fake..... It lookes like he plucks with out plucking the strings.And there are sounds when he isnt even touching the guitar.

Hmm...I don't think it fake...but just being able to play the guitar crazy fast doesn't mean everything. The other notes that you hear is him playing the music in the background. Theres like four (is it four?) guys in the Dragonforce band and he can't play the role of all of them. I agree with Kyle that Dragonforce is repetetive, but I still listen to them sometimes when I need a little adrenaline boost.

excuse the hell out of me i put the i in the wrong spot. And no i dont play the guitar, but i do know enough about music to know dragonforce sounds like pigs be slaughtered

DragonForce has 6 guys. ZP Theart, Herman Li (wub), Vadim Pruzhanov (good luck with that!), Sam Totman, Dave Mackintosh, Frederic Leclercq.

Anyone noticed the blooper halfway through that guy's solo?

I've sung in various choirs for 7 years.
I've played guitar for 3 years.
I have some hundred cds of which I have 2500 songs uploaded to the computer.

Now that we have my credibilities out of the way, I will state that although I don't listen to dragonforce as this band, simply put, doesn't appeal to me they definitely don't suck and have at least something of an idea as to what they're doing. I believe it was The Ramones that had a standard as to not use more than 4 chords per song or something of the sort. In fact, many songs make use of very simple chord progressions. It's not the progression or diversity of chords that makes a song unique, it's the meaning you put into the song along with the way you use them.

Okay they have four :oops:

I've only seen the Operation Ground and Pound music video and I counted like four guys so I wasn't really sure. My mistake.

Herman Li is a dirty tapper and should be stripped of his guitar.
Tapping should be used in moderation, not all of the time...
Kyle is right, all of their songs sound the same.

Anyway, that kid is so clearly not even playing the song.. Maybe he could try a little harder, as in, actually try...? Funny looking kid too :-s

He should try singing, that would be quite funny.

I assume the blooper was where it showed he clearly wasn't playing the guitar? Because if it wasn't I think I'm missing something.

The blooper was halfway through the main Herman/Sam solo around 5:30 - 5:59 It made me laugh out loud!
