How do you delete blocks faster in Minecraft alpha singleplayer? On the Minecraft website I found on the free multiplayer game that when you delete a block it only takes one click and i was wondering if you can do that in singleplayer for Minecraft alpha. I cant find anything on it so if someone could help that would be nice. Thanks.

Wait until 1.8 gets released. There's a creative mode coming along with adventure mode.

The only way you have minecraft alpha now is if you pirated it. I would recommend getting the full game.

I think he might be talking about Beta, but I'm not sure.

Unless you added some mod to allow you to go through blocks faster, you need to use the correct tool for removing whatever block you want to break. Diamond shovel will make dirt and other similar materials be harvested in 1 hit, while most rock goes away within a few hits of a diamond pickaxe.

1.8 will be out next week (apparently), and as Ben said, that should include a Creative mode (aka minecraft classic) along with the current Survival mode.
