err could be limewire, could be a faulty mem stick? or it could be taht you need to make a new folder, inside the "Music" folder and then put the songs inside that, thats how I'm set up and it works just great.

He's right. I highly doubt you have a faulty mem stick tho. I had the same problem then discovered that i needed to create a folder and then add my music to that.

What you wanna do is when ur memory stick is connected to your computer, you want to open it up in "My Computer" then click on the mem stick. Now you should prolly see a window that has like a bunch of folders and stuff in it. Create a new folder here and name it "MUSIC" drag all of your music files that you want to go onto your psp into that folder. Once theyre finished transferring you should be able to eject your mem stick and plug it into ur psp and you should be good to go. :)

Hope this helps. 8)

Just downgrade your psp and get 3.80 M33-5 ASAP

But I think if you format your memstick, you'll get the needed folders. Just back up savefiles first (I erased 73% of GTA vice like that :()

I'm thinking that its a compatibility problem. The file type or the codec isn't supported by the psp.

Yes, you have to make sure that the media files are within a folder that is within the music folder on the psp. Otherwise the psp will not recognize the media files
