RIGHT first of all i know ball mice are old and all that rubbish I'd like to start off by saying if you want to point this out or suggest i buy a new one I've got two words: Shut up.

So our old mouse kicked the bucket and we got a new one a "PCline" if that means anything at all.

Problem with it is, the bloody mouse click seems to be a bit over the top. I'll click once and it'll click twice on screen. o.0

It happens randomly but frequently and is making playing RS a rather annoying task.

Any suggestions or even better a fix would be muchh appreciated amigos.

Do you know how to access your mouse settings? If so, go to them and make sure that the right click isn't doubleclicking.

I used to use a ball mouse too. I have an optical mouse now and it screws around with photoshop.

I use an Optical Mouse it never screws up, but yeah go to control panel and reconfigure if you can it shouldn't be hard. also another thing would be is the touch you use when clicking, it might have settings for light-medium touch. thats why it might double click.

Maybe it is your double click speed? try to set the slider in the middle.

Double click speed has nothing to do with it. The double click speed controls how fast you have to click twice in a row for it to count as a double click.

From what I understand it's only doing it when you click once.

Yeah it is. I click the once and it'll click twice for some reason. Happens randomly but frequently.

I believe I had problems with a pcline wireless keyboard and mouse not behaving correctly too... I just went out and bought better ones.

I don't really have any 'real' suggestions, but if you can't fix it here, see if you can get a replacement, or better yet - a refund. :P
