 Post subject: linux - gimp imaging useing konsole

Ok so i want to use some brushes in Gimp, i downloaded them and they are now on my desktop, evory time i go to Gimp and look for them, they are not there, do i have to move them somewhere else other than my desktop?

You have to go into the GIMP files and copy them into it.

If your on windows you should put your brush files in C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.2\share\gimp\2.0\brushes the 2.2 and 2.0 will be different depending on your version. I forget what the path would be on linux and my linux machine can't be used right now, sorry.
