Try swithcing the the power supplies from your computer to hers. Then, try her computer and yours. If hers works, and yours doesn't, the power supply is busted.

If that doesn't happen then..... :?

What cliff said should work but, I do NOT recommend you put her PSU (Power Suply Unit) in your computer, it could fry your system and you wouldn't want that.

A Kid asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?" and Jesus said. "This much."
And spread his arms out on the cross and died.
If you believe that he did this for you put this in your signature.

We run into these problems are work all the time. Troubleshooting is key when it comes to power problems. First we check if it's the plug for one. (:P) Then we check if it's the power cable, for some strange reason, we've had power cables go bad for so reason at all.. Finally we switch out the power supply if everything else didn't work. You can pick up a powersupply cheap from http://www.newegg.com

If you have any questions ask me. :)

Just so you know, almost all telephone-support jobs are getting outsourced to India.

Lol, you went and bought new motherboards and PSU's and you didn't even check the cord?

Always do that. Dunno why so many people overlook that, there are bad cords..I had that problem a few weeks back. The cord just died on me.

But what did such a Teuton afterwards look like when he had been "improved" and led into a monastery? Like a caricature of a human being, like an abortion: he had become a "sinner," he was in a cage, one had imprisoned him behind nothing but sheer terrifying concepts... There he lay now, sick, miserable, filled with ill-will towards himself; full of hatred for the impulses toward life, full of suspicion of all that was still strong and happy. In short, a "Christian"... - Twighlight of the Idols
