I can't connect to the internet through my emulated Sabayon... Any suggestions?

Did you enable the networking option when you set up the os? Check in the networking settings, just to verify. Also make sure that vmware has access through your firewall, etc, on your main computer.

I didn't personally set it up. That costs money. I downloaded it from http://bagside.com/bagvapp/index.html

The internet connection worked for a few days and then it just stopped working. It still works on the host computer.

It doesn't cost anything to change settings around..Just fiddle around in the .vdmx or something like that (VMware configuration file) in the Virtual Machine folder, wherever that may be.

If it worked for a few days, there shouldn't be any reason it's not working now...Theoretically, you could re-do your settings and use the same virtual harddrive. That should save everything you've done, but you'll have stock settings once again (supposing something was changed)

Can't say I know the exact problem, but I can take a crack at it...Ethernet0, I've seen that as part of the code in the .vdmx, or whatever the filename is. Potentially, you set up the connection to be through a wired connection (if that was one of the choices) and that's causing the problem, or there's some issue with Sabayon that causes it to not be able to use Ethernet. Though, I admit that the last potential problem would be an odd occurrence..
