New font CONFUSION! DX

Hey, the Freak here.I've recently downloaded some new fonts from Dafont.com, but can't figure out how to get them onto my computer. I know I have to get them into the folder 'C:/Windows/Fonts', but I can't seem to find that folder. ;_; I'm so confuzzled.

Try saving them somewhere that you know you can find them in, like a folder, and then simply move them to c:/windows/fonts later. For now, have you tried searching for them?

No no, I know where the FONTS are, but I can't find the 'C:/Windows/Fonts' folder, which is supposedly where I'm supposed to put these fonts so I can use them on my computer.

Well, it should be in there. Try right clicking some white space and go Arrange icons by...Name and then look in alphabetical order. If you still can't, try going to Tools/Folder Options/View/View hidden files.

Its really easy to find actually. Just go to my computer, then click on the c deive, then click on the windows folder. It might come up with a bluish screen, but in one of the bottom corners you can click it to view the files. Then there will be even more folders. Look for the one called fonts and paste the font file in there. Now you have installed your font and it is ready for use.

or.. a simpler way.. just type in the search bar at the top C:\windows\fonts

With some machines running on windows nt, it will be in a file like WINNT\fonts

my way: go into control panel classic veiw and it will be there easy as pie

on win xp home it is in C:/windows/fonts although if you cant find it there you can push windows key+F and search for arial.ttf the directory you find it in should be the directory to put your new fonts into.

A mod can lock this now, it has no use.
