Msn Messenger Problem

About half an hour ago it was alright, now upon signing in I get -


"We are unable to sign you in to MSN Messenger. Possibly because of a problem with the service or your internet connection. Please make sure that you are connected to the internet.

To let us try and troubleshoot the problem, click the Troubleshoot button.

Obviously I am connected to the internet, and when running the troubleshooting thingy, (thats a technical term), it stops doing anything at 'key ports' with no indication of whats wrong...

so what am I supposed to do?

I got pretty much the same thing on my other computer. All I did was reinstall it and it worked fine. Try that.

Do this in order (at the end of each step, trying logging on)

1. Clear all cookies, cache etc.
2. Re-install MSN
3. Kick your computer (joking...)
4. Go to http://www.e-messenger.net/ and sign on there
5. Make your own program to connect to MSN
