Margaret Thatcher, Britain's first and only female prime minister to date, passed away today after suffering a stroke. She was 87.

Another giant of Conservatism passes. Sad, right Shane?

Yep. People really don't give enough credit for the Thatcher/Reagan team that did great things in the 80s. Let's hope that the memories of her actions will continue to be a source of inspiration for other conservative politicians out there.

Also I should mention that some in the Twitterverse thought that Cher died. I wonder why, #nowthatchersdead

heard about her passing this morning on the way to work. sad that she passed away. but after 87 years on the earth, may she be able to rest in peace and feel no pain.
