Basically the president can appoint whoever he wants to positions regardless of qualifications or ability without any oversight by the Senate.

With the president freely able to appoint the ADMINISTRATOR OF THE US FIRE ADMINISTRATION, who's to tell if we get all Fahrenheit 451 up in here?
