fact: unless you eat dairy products, eggs or take supplements you will be vitamin B12 deficient which is required for normal red blood cells formation and DNA synthesis.

fact: unless you really drink soy milk fortified with calcium, being vegetarian will actually decrease calcium in your bones because dietary fiber just loves to steak calcium away when you do #2. and i believe zinc as well.

fact: a good source of protein for vegetarians are tofu, and no not all tofu taste like "chalk".

and yes eating plants is actually more economical because of how much energy is lost when you eat meat. but hell i love me pork chops.

best thing of course is really not waste food. sadly, the whole "think of the poor people in africa" when the food is in your supermarket is null and void.

One of the things stopping me from being vegetarian is that since I live in a hippie town, I feel naturally biased again vegetarianism.

The fact that meat is delicious is keeping me from being a vegetarian. Also tofu is great if it's done right. That means not making "fake meat" products.

The taste of meat will never justify what many animals go through to end up on my plate. Pile on everything else and it's hard to understand why we even eat meat let alone support it.
I don't even like the taste of most though lol.

I say that hypocritically as I'm not vegetarian and as I scramble for excuses: I don't control what is available in my house and I only eat the meats that I grew up regularly with and I don't try any ones I've not before. I know, doesn't count for much... anything...

But whenever I move out it is definitely something I'm going to try. And when I say try I mean do, but not so strict that "NEVER AGAIN"... but never again regularly.

Vegetarian and vegan are like the only things where you see ******* gotta change but you actually have to change your own daily habits. XD

I had a cheeseburger today. Roast turkey tomorrow i believe? And roast chicken on sunday.

That's all i have to add to this topic really. If I'm honest i couldn't give a stuff about the animals. Give a stuff about the Africans. Or a stuff about the state this planet will be in around 100 years from now.

The animals i eat are bred to be eaten. The Africans had there chance to become apart of the Empire and decided to be assholes about it. LOOK AT CANADA, LOOK AT AUSTRALIA THAT COULD OF BEEN YOU AFRICA. Ok I'm joking that doesn't even make sense SHUT UP. But not about the not caring part. I don't care. Sorry. Theres people starving in this country. I could go out and find myself a homeless guy now. I'm not about to shed a tear for him either.

And the planet. Well I'll be dead. So I'm not losing sleep over it. Sure i HOPE someone comes along and invents a magic cure for everything that would be nice. But i doubt it. And I'm just a small speck in a very large universe. Can't change it so why let it bother me.

Enjoy your life. You only get one. Drink, eat as many animals as you can. Take every new experiance you can and make the most of it. While I'm sharing my narrow minded (some might call ignorant) views there is no god so you wont be going to heaven. So stop following the bible, stop paying attention to a silly book and start doing whatever you want. Except killing people. Follow the law. I just killed a **** mosquito so that's one less annoying bloody pointless little thing in the world too. GOD i hate them it better not of bit me.

Stop worrying about the animals, stop worrying about the planet, stop worrying about **** that in the end doesn't matter. We're all going to die. None of us are important. This planets going to die. So is the sun. So is everything else in this galaxy. It's a fate that's unavoidable.

Merry christmas.
