How do you guys release anger? I need good ways to get rid of mine as I tend to bottle it up :oops: With school starting tomorrow I really don't need to go off on someone as I have a tendency to yell at the worst people possible :x

If I released my anger (I bottle mine up too), I'd release it on a punching bag. If you prefer a "girlish" way, scream into a pillow. You can also swear/curse (preferably in a low voice). If you're an athletic person, you could work it out, hard running/swimming.

You could also hurl breakables at a wall or kick a puppy :P

Listening to calming music, or my favourite music, always gets rid of any tension I have. I dunno, I tend not to get angry.

When you find yourself in a situation like that, walk away and do something else to take your mind off of the matter. It's best not to vent on someone.

I actually listen to hardstyle music while dancing (jumpstyle dancing!). It's a really good way for me to release my stress. Sure, it's not socially acceptable, but it's a really good way to release stress. It's also one of those "minutes to learn, lifetime to master things"

But basically, the most important part is that it gives you something to take your mind off of whatever you're stressed about, and it also gives you a really good workout (releasing those feel-good hormones).

I repeat that it's not socially acceptable. But if you're willing to jump around like a moron, it seriously helps. At least it helps me.

Plug in a pair of headphones, hide somewhere (I have a small toybox coffin in my room), and play some online games on my phone like skretch onlinr or poker.

Really fun when you get to hide your identity as well as be able to kill time.

Whenever I'm angry I usually end up listening to extremely loud and heavy music, such as Slipknot or something like that. Dunno why but it works.

I used to play a lot of baseball at school and I always performed better when I was angry. I guess I unleashed (or used up) all of my anger on the ball.
