World Cup - England Adverts

Hey Guys, Just making this Thread to people who like football or are going to be watching the World Cup this summer. I think iys stupid and sad how all these adverts are getting made about english winning the world cup and the panasonic advert about how many goals england score you get £10 back when you have bought a TV. And adverts about support Your country the ones that will win the world Cup.

England do not have a chance winning, They will only get as far as the Quarter Finals. Not even that in my opinion.
The team that will win will be either Brasil <--- My Team. Or Spain.

Course we wont. Our only star player is some troll who's not all that hot anyway. I'd say we actually have a rather weak line up myself. But i have very little interest in football so what do i know.

I find it amusing how all the flags have come out. Dunno why people bother. We'll lose, fat, bald twats will show the country up by picking fights out there and our loss will get blamed on something idiotic like OH IT WAS TO HOT. Saying that I'll probably watch the England games, hopefully we'll get to knock france or someone out before we go ourselves. Small victorys and all that.

Without Ballack leading them, it will be difficult for them to get to the final.

I must admit, I do think Spain have got this World Cup in the bag. No amount of England support is going to get us any further than the quarter-finals.

Spain do have a tendency to not live up to expectations though, Euro 2008 apart they're perenial underachievers. I think there are a fairly wide field of teams who could potentially win. Very much doubt it will be England however.

Lol i could tell you were american once i read "soccer", And this years favourites are Brazil and Spain. I think spain have more of a chance because their forwards and defence are the best. Most of their players are from top teams like madrid, Barca, United etc. England will be lead by Rooney who is too fat to even carry his own weight. England haven't got a hope in hell winning the world cup...Italy also wont be that good this year, Half of their players have lost their touch and gone terrible. Germany on the other hand have gone better they will definatly make it to the semi's wih forlan leading them.

I wish the final would be Spain vs England. But even then I would want Spain to win, their team is made up of STARS! And by that I mean all of the subs are stars as well. Argentina have a pretty good team but they just can't get it right as a team. :S

I doubt it. Unless America has suddenly got good. I mean I'm rather negative about the UK team but the American one..well I disagree with Ryan I'd be surprised if they put up a fight against us. And again i know little to nothing about football but i want to feel included.

The USA generally plays well enough to at least entertain us back home so I always look forward to their games. As a plus, my brother, who's volunteering in South Africa right now, will actually be at one of their games so yay

Watched it on TV the other night. I agree it was funny, although Peter Crouch should never be allowed to host a TV show ever again. Ever.
