Not much to be said, but this looks like it might be a problem.

Obama taking guns away, I know about 50 people from the south who are hunters who won't let it go easily. He's going to either ban guns (that would be vetoed so fast), or he's going to put a killer tax on them, so all of you hunters out there are in trouble.

We need stricter gun laws in the US.

Seriously, getting 5 guns for Christmas? That's messed up

True. You know, now that I think about it, it'd make the killings more violent if guns were banned

It would make murders/killings "more dramatic" I guess, since guns would be completely outlawed.

Let's see...

Outlaws are already importing guns from other countries to sell illegally on the black market
Anyone who plans on killing or even shooting at someone is planning on breaking atleast one law, why not break two or three in the process?

IF guns are banned then we will see alot more fatalities because the honest homeowners won't be able to defend themselves.

It'd be like tying someone's hands behind their back and then giving a machine gun to a crazy person and locking the two in a room together.

Since murders are dishonest outlaws they will still get their guns - and probably use them more because of the publicity!

Honest people may become outlaws by trying to get guns for honest uses, like hunting.

Some people do still live off the land. Removing their guns will turn some into outlaws (either by them seeking illegal guns or by stealing for food) and some will sit at their mailboxes receiving those checks from the government (meaning that the taxes will go in a certain direction...yea, UP!).

You may also see an increase of knife sales and find that more people can accurately throw a knife (if you can't have a pistol then a knife is the next best thing).

Or you may find that there are alot more Marines(or any military branch, but I think Marines are the easiest to get into) being dishonorably discharged (for using a military gun to commit non-military murder).

Here's to you, Mr. Government: You can't remove the People's ability to equip arms. You can only remove their legal rights to do so.

Honest to God, I can't believe that there are that many people in this world who think that putting a gun in everyone's hands is a good thing. :/

Cops should have them, but for everyone else they should be banned. If a cop sees someone holding a gun - shoot them on sight.

well im glad you thought that one threw.....

As i type this my dad is in the living room cleaning his and mine rifles because deer season comes in Saturday. Obama cant ban guns its in our constitution that he cant and the supreme court upheld that. What he can do is ban high powered ammo.

I didn't say everyone should have a gun, but there are those who should and those who need them.

Some cops don't deserve firearms.

If cops were to be able to shoot anyone on site upon seeing a firearm in their possession then we would hear about more 'criminals' being shot because 'they were carrying a gun'. When in reality the cop had planted the gun on the 'criminal's' body after he'd been shot. I know this puts our police force down, but there are some crooked cops like that right now and I'm sure we'd get alot more crooked cops if guns were banned from the public.

If they're banning guns in order too prevent injuries or deaths then it won't work. People will always find new ways of killing each other. Some may go back to bow and arrow (Government: "We're banning the use of a 'bow and arrow' today."), others to knives, and others to Martial arts or other ways of killing.

ok, she is buying her son (or kids) a gun to hunt with before obama tax's the crap out of them. and gun sales have gone up, since obama and biden are about as anti gun as it gets.
but some how that makes the US crazy? no, it makes us smart. maybe obama well think twise before pushing to over tax guns&ammo and ban "assault weapons"

as others have said, banning guns, or gun control at all is only going to make crime rise.
why not break into someones home if you know they cant help them selfs? yeah sure you can
call the cops, but in the time they get there you could already be dead. guns are only a tool, they cant walk around shooting people at their own will, it takes a person for that.
and if you take away their gun, they'll still find a way to kill those people.
