The unstoppable force is not stopped (it's unstoppable) and the immovable force is not moved (it's immovable). The questions answers itself ;p.

I think, using all the logic I can muster that in that one case, Chuck Norris dies.

Neither exist.

Case closed.

If they did exist, the trajectory of the supposed "unstoppable force" would differ, as it's momentum collides with the "immovable object" it wouldn't stop, it would bounce off and go slower. The "immovable object" would remain stationary, unless it is a continually moving force which is immovable from it current field of motion. In which case it gets more difficult.

I'm not going into it because I can't be bothered.

Well I'm sure they would first greet each other with phrases such as "Hi" and "How are you"...kidding.

If it ever did happen the unstoppable force would keep trying to push the immovable object and the immovable object would keep absorbing the force.

Or the unstoppable force would force its way around the immovable object.

Who thinks up these questions? I don't think anything is really unstoppable or immovable in reality anyway.

Maybe there are, but eh, whatever.

I guess it's something just to have fun thinking about though. Even though I don't find it very fun, others may be entertained by the notion.

What if the 'un-stoppible force' hit the 'immovable object' so hardf that it split into two, and the 'un-stoppible force' went through it?

if such a thing as an irresistible force exists, then no object is immovable, and vice versa. It is logically impossible to have these two entities (a force that cannot be resisted and an object that cannot be moved by any force) in the same universe.

if there is such a thing as an irresistible force, then the phrase immovable object is meaningless in that context, and vice versa, and the issue amounts to the same thing as, for example, asking for a triangle that has four sides.

The Oracle led me to WikiAnswers.

Personally I'd say that the Immovable object remains immovable, while the Unstoppable force remains unstoppable, creating a universal paradox of some kind, forcing a reboot on the universe.

The unstoppable force. Can be stopped by nothing. Does not stop. The immovable object includes in "nothing", thus the unstoppable force wouldn't be stopped by immovable object. However, because the immovable object is immovable, it can be moved by nothing, and nothing includes the unstoppable force. Therefore the unstoppable force should stop when hitting the immovable object, or the immovable object should move when the unstoppable force hits it.

As stated in the names of these two things, it is clearly impossible.

Next up: What do you get if you divide by zero? (Must be a number, lulz)

0/0 = 1

Anything else over 0 is not possible.

It depends on what angle the unstoppable is hitting the immovable.

If the Unstoppable is shot towards the immovable at a 89 degree angle then the unstoppable would simply bounce off.

If the Unstoppable is shot towards the immovable at a 90 degree angle then it would bounce directly backwards, completely reversing the force that was moving it.

Quote:
0/0 = 1

Anything else over 0 is not possible.

Actually anything other then zero is infinity.

-1/0

Nothing goes into negative 1 how many times? Since there is no value to nothing it continues to go into negative one until it reaches a whole value of negative one, which is impossible.
